Brakes

With the drum on the passanger side bad I figured know it would be the time to install disc bakes on the front. I bought a kit from Scarebird out of Seattle for $135.00. The adpator is made out of 1/4" plate steel, even comes with a Chrysler symbol cut into the bracket.

I bought the rest of the brake parts from a company on the internet called Rock Auto. The rotors are for a 1995 Ford Crowen Victoria, I paid $22.00 each.

The calipers are for a 1980 GMC 1/2 ton van and set me back $23.00 each inculding the hardware.

The brake houses are for a Chev and cost $12.00 each.

I bought a 9" double diaphragm brake booster with master cylinder for a Vet. from e-bay (Fatrodders Rod Shop). The cost was $99.00

I started to clean up the brake hardware and decided I just as might as well paint the young gal. So I have decided I have better come up with a plan of what I am going to do to this truck to make her happy. A happy truck will turn into a happy owner!
